A superposition of the technical and the artistic forms the architectural response to brief and site for this project. The outcome is a house that is both bold and delicately sculptural.
The design is for a family of five, with the possibility for future extensions. The generous living areas are a combination of different spaces at the rear of the home. They interweave into the general programme and provide different aspects to the outside.
An astute understanding of materials and construction allow us to use materials common to modern construction; concrete, metal and glass, in a way that is novel, reinterpreting the modern home.
